Learn watercolour techniques from the super talented Katerina Savchenko. You too can create your own masterpiece during this level one masterclass.
No previous experience is required.
Your teacher, Kateryna Savchenko, is a professional watercolour artist and illustrator from the Ukraine. She has been passionate about painting since the age of 12 and has worked hard to perfect her skills. She creates outstanding illustrations of an extremely high quality. Her work has been used in product branding and print.

In this workshop you will learn brush and paint techniques with the goal of creating a beautiful flower painting of your own. You will also learn how to control the pigment when applying “wet in wet” technique and how to create natural looking veins on flower petals. The workshop will consist of a one hour technical demonstration and approximately two hours painting time. During these two hours Katerina will assist you in perfecting your technique and guide you through the process of creating your own floral masterpiece.
Watercolour is an extremely versatile medium. It can be applied to paper, papyrus, bark papers, plastics, vellum, leather, fabric, wood and canvas ( source: Wikipedia).
Should you wish to proceed to the second masterclass you will be encouraged to practice your technique before attending Masterclass 2 approximately two weeks later.
This workshop is part one of a three part series.
Masterclass one – 17.02.2018 you will learn various paint and brush techniques – Subject matter: flowers.
Masterclass two – 03.03.2018 you will further develop your skills and practice – Subject matter: still life (food).
Masterclass three – 17.03.2018 will focus on advanced techniques – Subject matter: animals (cat).
Each masterclass costs 450kr, however if you choose to attend all three masterclasses and pay for all three together then you will receive a discounted price of 1100kr. Please contact us if you would like to arrange this and we will arrange a special ticket for you.
