My main role these day is as a community builder and founder of Handmade in Norway. A position that I thrive in. It keeps me on my toes and challenges me on ever level. I utilise my 20 something years of experience as a designer and channel it in to giving my fellow creatives a boost.
But once a creative, always a creative. So here’s what I do for fun!
This is me!
Brit that loves living in Oslo. I’ve been here since 2005 and there’s no place I would rather be. I’ve been illustrating since before I left University, freelancing to pay for the luxury of a diploma. I worked as an in-house designer for many years. I’ve been a packaging designer, a products designer, a print designer, an illustrator. And now I am the proud founder of Handmade in Norway. This business brings out the best of, and allows me to use all the skills I have collected over the years to promote and guide other creatives to build their own creative businesses.
Illustrating is a real escape for me. It’s my happy place. Below you will see some examples of my designs. All are created in Adobe Illustrator. These are the things that keep me up at night, because once I get started I just can’t stop!
