Calligraphy – Brush Lettering

As part of our Art & Design day at Brygg Handmade in Norway is arranging two different creative workshops.

This workshop will be held twice on this day and it will be possible to drop in and try your hand at this elegant brush lettering style. You can also buy a ticket beforehand to be certain that you get a place.

This style can be described as a more relaxed form of Modern Calligraphy and this class will teach you everything you need to know, starting at the basics.

You will learn more about different types of brushpens, basic strokes, lower and upper case styling and finally you will design your own piece of artwork.

Soak up the creative atmosphere as Handmade in Norway invite the public in to attend an indoor market with a wide variety of handmade products and gives you the opportunity to learn a new skill.

JULIJASCRIPT is a freelancing artist with a wide creative range from 20 years of experience. During her 1,5 year long travelling in Asia she got the chance to be a student of famous calligraphers like Huy Hoang Dao from Vietnam and Chaiwat Sriwilard from Thailand. She is exploring the path of handwriting and she would love to share her experience with you.
